In memory of CHARLOTTE JOCEYLN MARY daughter ofTHOMAS SMITH esqr and the hon: MARY HELY HUTCHINSON and wife of HENRY BAKER TRISTRAM. M.A. vicar of this parish.educated in the fear of the LORD, and in the knowledge of his WORD she was kept from the vain pleasures of the world.constrained by the love of CHRIST,and sanctified by the HOLY SPIRIT, Through grace she early devoted her heart to GOD and humbly sought to glorify HIM by a grateful obedience. as the wife of a clergyman she laboured with him in the GOSPEL, being unwearied in teaching the children of the poor, and promoting the present and eternal welfare of others, while her own family was ever the object of her affectionate care.her blessed spirit departed to eternal rest, rejoicing in hope of the GLORY of GOD, and testifying that through faith in her REDEEMER the sting of death was taken away. she was born april XXVII. MDCCXCVIII. and died august III. MDCCCXXX. two days after the birth of her sixth child and fourth daughter.
