Erected in memory of WALTER SCOTT of Gallo – Law who died February 26^th 1839, aged 72 years. ELIZABETH wife of the above WALTER SCOTT who died June 17^th 1848 aged 88 years. SUSAN, their daughter died at Powburn, June 25^th 1883, aged 82 years.
