Erected in memory of ADAM son of ROBERT and MARGARET ROBERTSON of Eglingham who died August 7^th 1837 aged 13 years, HENRY their son who died July 11^th 1832 aged 6 years. ROBERT and JAMES their sons who died in infancy. The above ROBERT ROBERTSON died February 1^st 1862 aged 63 years. Also the above MARGARET ROBERTSON who died Jan^y 2^nd 1864 aged 64 years. ROBERT, son of the above died August 1^st 1870, aged 40 years; and was interred in Franklinford Cemetery Australia.
