The headstones in Row 13 are against the north wall in SECTION C of the graveyard. They were moved here from their previous location in the graveyard in 1988. They were not recorded in the previous survey. The mason’s name attributed to each headstone comes from a church document.

In Loving Memory of MARY beloved wife of SAMUEL SHORT, who died at New Bewick March 28. 1895, aged 64 years. Also the above SAMUEL SHORT, who died at Alnwick May 17. 1902, aged 76 years.
