In Loving Memory of my dear husband THOMAS ARNOTT who died at St. Cuthbert’s, 18th March 1944 aged 75 years.  Also of his wife MARGARET ARNOTT who died at Oxendean Burn, 13th March 1949 aged 79 years.

Commentary

Thomas was a Groom Gardner in 1911 census and living in Learmouth Cornhill. He was born at Ford Common. His wife Margaret was born in Etal Northumberland. Daughter Eleanor was born in Lowick South Moor, North. Ester was born in the same place but son George was born at Berrington Laur, North.

The family must have moved around quite a bit in the Cornhill area.
