Here rest until the resurrection the mortal remains of JOHN CARR who died at East Braes, Coldstream on 26th day Aug. 1856 aged 48 years.

Erected by his widow, his brothers, and his sister, sorrowing. The departed was the second son of the late JOHN CARR Esq. of Dunston Hill, Co. Durham & Hedgeley, Northumberland.

Commentary

John Carr was born in Malta they lived at East Braes high st Coldstream and he was a Book Vender Seller
