In Loving Memory of our dear mother and father, ISABELLA SWAN, who died 5th July 1943 aged 70 years, NICHOLAS SWAN, who died 23rd Sept. 1919 aged 47 years.

Also our dear Grandmother JANET RICHARDSON who died 10th May 1919 aged 71 years.

Commentary

In the 1911 census  Isabella is living with her father Thomas Swan her Grand Daughter Janet Richardson and sisters Isobella Elliot and Agnes Easton both of the sisters were married.

Nicholas was described as a coal trimmer living at railway  Gates Cornhill on Tweed.

At one time he was also a roadman.

His wife Isabella was born at Ersdon, Northumberland, England
