In loving memory of JOHN RANKIN beloved husband of MARIA RANKIN  who died through an accident at Twizell Bridge 18th April 1938 aged 60 years.

Also of the above MARIA RANKIN who died 8th Feb 1951 aged 63 years.

BARBARA daughter of the above who died 16th April 1936 age 27 years

Commentary

John Rankin was on a bike on the north end of Twizell Bride when he was in a collision with a car driven by James Goudie. John died in Berwick infirmary. He lived West Newbiggin Norham.
