In loving memory of AGNES beloved wife of THOMAS JOHNSTON who died at Branxton Buildings 9th Dec 1936 aged 52 years.

Also the above THOMAS JOHNSTON farmer who died at Coupland 6th Feb 1972 aged 91 years.

Commentary

Robert was born in Ladykirk Berwickshire. His wife was born in Fouldon Berwickshire in the 1911 he was described as a Shepherd.

His father was born in Sprouston near Kelso and was a farmer at Branxton Buildings. His brther farmed Branxton Hill.
