Erected by JAMES WILSON in loving remembrance of ANNIE WILSON his daughter who died at Belchester 11th March 1890 aged 25 years. Also three of his children who died young and interred in Eccles Churchyard. Also the above JAMES WILSON who died 11th January 1902 aged 72 years. MARY MCDOUGAL his wife who died 16th January 1917 aged 81 years. Also MARY WILSON his daughter who died at Post Office Birgham 29th October 1930 aged 57 years. Also JESSIE WILSON their daughter and wife of RICHARD GIBSON who died at Melrose 15th August 1947 aged 73 years.
