Here lyeth the Body of JAMES ARTHUR Inter^d July 11^th 1761 Aged ii years and GEORGE ARTHUR died January 11^th 1763 Aged 3 years and 8 Months both sons of JAMES ARTHUR Eglingham

[Register of Eglingham Burials gives name as “Arthur” but it may be “Arther” on headstone. Difficult to read because of bad weathering and lichen.]
