In affectionate remembrance of HUGH SMITHSON Esq of Dark who died suddenly at Coldstream on 1st November 1879. (This is a flat cross beside the north side of the church. The word Dark is unusual and it could be Park).

Erected by  ? ELIZABETH HOOD, In Memory of her husband JAMES DAVIDSON who died, 27 Jan. 1881 aged 54 years. 

Also ALICE, daughter of the above, who died 26 December 1859 aged 3 years and 5 months and interred in Tweedmouth Cemetery. 

Also the above ELIZABETH HOOD who died at Stannington Station, 22nd March 1908 aged 74 years. 

Also ALICE, daughter of the above who died at Heaton, Newcastle on Tyne, 12 July 1916 aged 36 years.
