Private William Greig, 2nd Battalion, Scots Guards. He was killed in France on 15th March 1917 and is buried in Bronfay Farm Military Cemetery, Bray-Sur-Somme, Somme, France. The Battalion history states that Private Greig was accidentally shot by one of his comrades who was practising weapon training nearby.
