Private William Dormer

Private William Dormer, 7th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. He was killed in action in France on 28th July 1918, aged 37. He was the second son of George and Mary Ann Dormer of Berwick and husband of Margueritta Dormer of 12 St. Helen’s Terrace Spittal. He is buried in Harponville Communal Cemetery Extension,nr. Contay, Somme, France. His Headstone is inscribed ” Death Divides But Memory Clings”.
