Here lieth the body of George Nicholson of Loanend who departed this life June 26th 1727 aged 86 years.

Here lieth the body of Ralph Nicholson of Thornton who departed this life July 25th 1747 in the 69th year of his age and also lyeth here interred the body of Elizabeth the wife of the above named Ralph Nicholson who departed this life 6th December 1753 in the •••••year of her age.

George Nicholson of Thornton departed this life September 30th 1777 aged 57 years.
