Erected. by John and Eleanor COCKBURN in memory of their son Thomas who died at Ancroft North Moor August 15th 1873 aged 5 years.

Also David their son died at West Newbiggin November 21st 1874 aged 4 years.

Also James their son died November 23rd 1874 aged 21 months.

Also the above Eleanor COCKBURN who died at Sunderland 1906 aged 62 years. '
