This tablet was erected by Lady CLEMENTINE WARING Lennel in commemoration of the self-sacrifice and devotion to duty of Scout WILLIAM TAIT Coldstream Troop. Born 25th October 1898 died 18th May 1915. Died at Rosybank Cottage from illness contracted whilst performing his duty as a sea scout. Interred at Lennel kirkyard.
