Erected by WILLIAM ELLIOT  tenant  in Mount Pleasant in memory of ELIZA his daughter who died August 9th 1844 aged 6 years.

Also the father of the above WILLIAM ELLIOT who died July 9th 1864 aged 76 years.

Also SARAH ELLIOT wife of the above who died April 3rd 1865 aged 62 years.

Also JAMES ELLIOT their son who died at Broomhill October 7th 1867 aged 31 years

Also MARY their daughter who died march 29th 1869 aged 27 years.
