Erected by JOHN SMART in loving memory of JOAN BOOKLESS his wife who died at Grizelrig 24th June 1902 aged 58 years.

Also MARGARET his daughter who died at Swinton Mill 3rd April 1889 aged 11 years. interred at Swinton.

Also the above JOHN SMART who died at Lietholm 27th February 1924 aged 87 years.
