Erected to the memory of JOHN FAIRGRIEVE our dear father who died at Mersington 16th March 1887 aged 56 years. Also our dear mother MARGARET HOLMES who died at Leitholm 1st October 1906 aged 75 years. Also HELEN third daughter of the above died 24th November 1931 aged 67 years. Also ISABELLA their elder daughter who died 8th January 1956 in her 93rd year.
