Leading Aircraftsman Thomas Grieve Elliot, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He died on 17th November, 1945 age 27 and is buried in Colombo (Liveramentu) Cemetery, Sri Lanka. He had been born in Kirtkton, Roxburghshire and was the son of Thomas and Euphemia Elliot of Mowhaugh, Yetholm, Roxburghshire. He died in a bathing accident at R.A.F. Koggala, the seaplane base in Ceylon.
