Private William Simm, 15th ( Service ) Battalion, Cheshire Regiment. He was killed in action in France on 21st October 1916, aged 22, during the Battle of the Somme. He was the son of Jane Anne and the late John Simm of Wooler and is buried in Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France. His Headstone is inscribed ” Thy Will Be Done “.
