Fusilier John Kerr, ( possibly) 9th Battalion, Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. He died in Hong Kong as a Prisoner of War of the Japanese on 14th November 1943, aged 29. He was the son of William and Florence Kerr and the husband of Joan Kerr of Bridlington, Yorkshire and is buried in Sai Wan War Cemetery, Hong Kong. It is likely that he was captured when Singapore fell to the Japanese on 15th February 1942.
