Lieutenant James Graham Maclagan, 5th ( Territorial ) Battalion, Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment attached to the 1st/5th Loyal North Lancaster Regiment. He died on 1st August 1918, in France, of wounds received in action, aged 21. He was the son of Mrs Maclagan of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, Pas de Calais, France. His late father had been a solicitor in Wooler
