Sergeant James Henderson, 9th ( Service ) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. He was killed in action in France on the 12th May 1917 during the Battle of Arras and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, Arras, France. He had lived in Market Place, Wooler. The photographs show troops during the Battle.
