Fusilier George Scott, ( possibly) 9th Battalion, Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. He died in Burma as a Prisoner of War of the Japanese on 27th September 1943 and is buried in Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery, Burma. Many men of this Regiment were captured at the fall of Singapore on 15th February 1942 and were forced to work on the infamous Burma-Siam Railway.
