Driver Andrew Ainslie Mowitt, Royal Army Service Corps. He died in France, aged 21, on 5th June 1940 of wounds received in action during the British Expeditionary Force’s fighting retreat to the coast at Dunkirk. He was the son of Andrew and Barbara Mowitt of Berwick-upon-Tweed and is buried in St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.
