Private David Little

Private David Little, 1st Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died from wounds in France, aged 22, on the 25th February 1917. He had been born in Ancrum and was the son of Mrs Little of Glebefoot, Roberton. Before enlisting he had been employed by Charles Scott, farmer, of Milsington, Borthwickmains, Roberton. He is buried in St Sever Cemetery, Rouen, France. At that time the Battalion was spending time in front line trenches near Meaulte and suffered casualties through intermittent shellfire.
