Pilot Officer James Dunlop

Pilot Officer James Miller Dunlop, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was lost on a Air Operation, aged 22, on the 15th September 1943. He was the son of John and Louise Dunlop of Glasgow and is buried with all his fellow crew members in Ecorcei Churchyard, Orne, Normandy, France. He was a member of 10 Squadron, R.A.F. and was lost on an Operation to Montlucon, cause of crash unknown. His Squadron flew the Handley Page Halifax from R.A.F. Melbourne, Yorkshire as part of 4 Group, Bomber Command.
