Private Arthur Luke, 9th Battalion, Cameronians ( Scottish Rifles ). He died in France on 26th March 1917, aged 36, of wounds received in action and is buried in Fauberg D’Amiens, Cemetery, Arras, France. He was the husband of Margaret Laidlaw Luke of 20 Ednam, Kelso. He had ben born in Carham, Northumberland and had enlisted in Berwick-upon-Tweed. He had been transferred from the Royal Scots Fusiliers.
