Private Michael Murphy, 1st Reserve Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, transferred to the 467th Agricultural Coy. Labour Corps. He died in the 4th Scottish General Hospital, Stobhill, Glasgow on the 22nd October 1918. He had been born in Rothbury and was the son of Mary and the late Denis Murphy of Longhirst Grange. He is buried in Morpeth ( St Mary and James ) Churchyard.
