Captain Hugh Lee Pattinson, 3rd Battalion attd. 9th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. He was killed in action in France, aged 26, on the 4th August 1915. and is buried in Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, France. He was a Regular Soldier and was the son of Hugh Pattinson of Lowlynn House, Beal and the husband of Mrs C. Lina Pattinson of Red Lodge, Hartley, Wintney, Hampshire. When he died he was acting as the Battalion Adjutant.
