Leading Aircraftsman Adam Bryce

Leading Aircraftsman Adam Veitch Bryce, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He died on Active Service with 526 Squadron, R.A.F. on 22nd March 1945 aged 36. He was one of three passengers aboard a Bristol Blenheim transit flight from Digby , Lincolnshire to Inverness when it crashed into Braeriach in the Cairngorms killing all six men on board. L.A.C. Bryce was on leave to visit his new born son and he is buried in Gordon Churchyard. His squadron was involved with the calibration of equipment throughout the War.
