Private William Hendry

Private William George Hendry, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He had been born in Birgham, Coldstream and died from dementia at Home, aged 32, at 88 High Buckholmside, Galashiels. He was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Hendry of Birgham. He had been a machine minder when he enlisted and served with the 2nd and 77th/8th Battalions before he was medically discharged from the army with mental issues.
