Private Walter Chisholm, 3rd Labour Company, Seaforth Highlanders transferred to the 14th Company, Labour Corps. He died on Active Service in France, aged 31, on the 22nd July 1917. He had been born in Galashiels and was the son of Janet and the late Walter Chisholm of 166 Scott Street, Galashiels. He is buried in Rocquigny-Eaquancourt Road British Cemetery, Manancourt, France.
