Private Robert Bradley

Private Robert Bradley, 1st Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died from T.B. in the City Hospital, Edinburgh, aged 24, on the 15th May 1916. He had been born in Galashiels and was the son of the late Janet and Peter Bradley. He had enlisted as a Regular in the K.O.S.B. in 1908 and served in India. He was discharged as unfit in May 1913 and thereafter worked in Edinburgh as a lamp lighter whilst living with his sister Jessie Bradley in 4 Dundee Place. His burial place is as yet unknown.
