Private Alexander Cameron

Private Alexander Cameron, 1st Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders. He died from wounds in France, aged 19 on the 11th March 1915 and is buried in Merville Communal Cemetery, France. He had been born in Edinburgh and was the son of Catherine ( Cameron) Howieson and William Howieson of 10 Hall Place, Galashiels. He had enlisted in August 1914 and joined his Battalion in France in January 1915.
