Private Reginald Lee

Private Reginald William Lee, Royal Army Service Corps. He died in an accident on Active Service on 18th October 1941, aged 40.  He had been born in Kettering, Northamptonshire and was the son of William and Emma Lee of Kettering. He was the husband of Annie Lee of  Eccles and Lilliesleaf and is buried in Lilliesleaf Kirkyard. Before enlisting in September 1939 he had been employed as a chauffeur at Eccles House and served in Belgium and France before being evacuated at Dunkirk. He was then posted to Northern Ireland where he was killed in an accident.
