Flight Sergeant David Craig

Flight Sergeant David Leslie Thomas Craig, Royal Air Force. ( Possibly) He was a Wireless Operator/ Air Gunner with 150 Squadron, R.A.F. and was lost on Air Operations on 25th August 1942, aged 26. He was the son of Samuel and Amy Craig of Strabane, Co., Tyrone, Northern Ireland and is buried in Rienne Communal Cemetery, Namur, Belgium. His Headstone is inscribed “Safe in the Arms of Jesus” In loving Memory of Our Leslie. Father and Mother “. At the time of his death the Squadron flew the Vickers Wellington 111 from R.A.F. Snaith, Yorkshire on raids over Occupied Europe.
