Sergeant Mason Faulkner, Scots Guards. ( C.W.G.C. site lists a Sergeant Ronald Mason Faulkner , Glider Pilot Regiment died of wounds on 25th March 1943. Son of George and Catherine Faulkner and husband of Joan Faulkner of Maida Vale, London and is buried in Exeter Cemetery ). It is possible he enlisted in the Guards and later transferred to the Glider Pilot Regiment. The photographs show images of the Regiment where casualties were usually high due to the dangers of operating gliders often in the face of enemy resistance. The Regiment normally used the Horsa Glider.
