Sub Lieutenant A. O’Brien, Royal Navy. ( possibly ). Lieutenant Percy O’Brien. He was killed on Malta on 22nd November 1941 and is commemorated on the Lee-on-Solent Memorial. He was based at Fort St Angelo, Malta which was used by the Royal Navy and the Fleet Air Arm during the Axis bombing campaign 1941-1943. As the Lee-on-Solent Memorial is the Fleet Air Arm Memorial it is possible he was either a member of or attached to the F.A.A. and was killed during an air raid. Fort St. Angelo is pictured below and was a frequent target for Axis bombers.
