Staff Quartermaster Sergeant Robert Clark

Staff Quartermaster Sergeant Robert Clark, Royal Army Service Corps. He died from tuberculosis in Bangour Hospital, aged 27, on the 14th October 1948. He had been born in Chirnside and was the son of Adam and Rachel Clark of 3 Lammerview, Chirnside and the husband of Filomena Clark. Before enlisting in 1942 he had worked as a baker in Duns. He is buried in Chirnside cemetery.
