Corporal Wilfred Cavell Renton, 2nd Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He was killed in action in Malaya on 19th January 1942, aged 26, and is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. He fell in the fighting retreat from the Japanese down Malaya to Singapore.
