Private Thomas Ridpath, V111 Corps Cyclists Battalion, Army Cyclists Corps. He died in France on 29th December 1918, aged 29, and is buried in Auberchicourt British Cemetery, Nord, France. He was born at Mount Pleasant and was the son of Samuel and Sarah Ridpath of Berwick. The photo shows a recruiting poster for the Cyclists.
