Private Thomas Laing Robson, 16th ( Service )Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. He was killed in action in France on 11th April 1917 and is buried in Savy British Cemetery, Aisne, France. He had been born in Wooler and had enlisted in Berwick. At that time the Battalion were in trenches near Savy Wood. The photos show troops during the Battle.
