Lance Corporal Robert Faed Bell, 250th Airborne Light Coy., Royal Army Service Corps. He died in Holland on 2nd October 1944, aged 37 and is buried in Lochem New General Cemetery, Netherlands. He was the son of Matthew and Mary Bell of Berwick and the husband of Margaret Bell also of Berwick. His Headstone is inscribed ” They Shall Not Grow Old, As we That Are Left Grow Old: Age Shall Not Weary Them “.
