Fusilier Archibald Paterson Steele, 7th Battalion, Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. He died of wounds in France on 9th June 1940, aged 24, suffered during the retreat to Dunkirk, and is buried in St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.
