Private Thomas Scott, 1st Battalion, Machine Gun Corps ( Infantry ). He was killed in France, aged 20, on the 20th April 1918 during the German Spring Offensives. He was the son of Thomas and Jessie Scott of Langhope, Ashkirk and is buried in Post Office Rifles Cemetery, Festubert, Pas de Calais, France where his Headstone is inscribed ” Thy Will Be Done”.
