In memory of the father of J.N. Lightbody JOHN LIGHTBODY who died at SWinton in October 1852 aged 75 years.

Erected by JAMES N. LIGHTBODY Parochial Schoolmaster of Swinton in memory of 2nd son JAMES PEMBERTON born 25th May 1851 died 9th Sept aged 12 years. Also wife PATIENCE MUSGRAVE died 26th August 1862 aged 60 years. Also the said JAMES N. LIGHTBODY died 22nd February 1863 aged 58 years.
