In loving memory of ANDREW son of THOMAS SCOTT Farmer Deanbrae Hawick who died at Swinton 31st October 1920 aged 57 years.

Also JOHN JAMISON  Grandson of the above THOMAS SCOTT presumed killed at Loos 25th September 1915 aged 22 years.

Also THOMAS JAMISON Grandson of the above who died at Swinton ? March 1926 aged 39 days.

Also BARBARA JAMISON Granddaughter of the above who died at Swinton 18th January 1933 aged 44 years

Military record

Private John S. Jamieson, 7th Battalion, Cameron Highlanders. He was killed on 25th September 1915 on the first day of the Battle of Loos aged 22.He was the son of Mrs Jamieson of Swinton and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Dud Corner, Loos, France. 7th Camerons were part of the 15th ( Scottish ) Division.
